  • 1980 - Designed six stained glass windows for Temple B'Nai Hayim, Sherman Oaks, CA; executed in Luce, France.

  • 1984 - Designed a bronze bas relief Holocaust sculpture and four Menorahs for the main sanctuary of the Sephardic Temple Tiferith Israel, 10500 Wilshire Blvd., Westwood, CA.

  • 1986 - Designed sculpture and garden for Temple Emanuel Mark Krawll Memorial, 300 North Clark Drive, Beverly Hills, CA.

  • 1987 - Designed and executed a 5 1/2 foot bronze, 500 lb. Chanukah Menorah for Jewish Homes for the Aging, Reseda, CA.

  • 1990 - Designed a 14 foot bronze Menorah mounted on the exterior wall of the Sephardic Temple facing Wilshire Blvd. and Warner Avenue, Westwood, CA.

  • 1991 - Designed Mogen David bronze sculpture, title "Eternity" for front entrance of sculpture garden, Jewish Homes for the Aging, Reseda, CA.

  • 1992 - Designed a bronze Menorah plaque for Sephardic Temple lobby entrance.

  • 1993 - Designed a bronze Mogen David for private residence.

  • 1995 - Bronze sculpture titled "Ya-Hee Orr" installed in memory of Yitzhak Rabin, (1922-1995), for entrance of Westwood Horizons, Westwood, CA.

  • 1996 - Featured in an article in The Artist's Magazine, February issue.

  • 1997 - Designed a bronze bas relief featuring a torah with tallit and prayer books for a private residence in Los Angeles. A second edition of this sculpture was commissioned for the temple of the Jewish Homes for the Aging on Victory Blvd. in Reseda, CA.

  • 1998 - Designed a 23 inch high Mezzuzeh where it is mounted for the residents of the Jewish Homes for the Aging on Tampa in Reseda, entitled, "When Thou Walkest By The Way."

  • 1999 - Designed a bronze Seder scene Bas Relief with a Samivar and candles for the Jewish Homes for the Aging on its campus on Tampa.

  • 2000 - Judaic consulting artist for bronze "Tree of Life" - 9 1/2 feet tall sculpture installed in garden of Temple Beth-El in South Bend, Indiana.

  • 2000 - Bronze Mogen David mounted on granite for the entrance of the William Breman Jewish Home in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • 2001 - Designed four stained glass windows for Temple Beth-El in South Bend, Indiana.

Two of the artist's bronze sculptures are now registered with the Smithsonian Institute, Washington D.C.

Several of Artist's paintings are registered in the National Slide Registry of American Artists, Washington, D.C.

Television interviews include: Israel Today, Channel 56, Los Angeles, on abstract painting and composition; NBC, Channel 4, Los Angeles, interview on art techniques.

Artist was featured in many one-artist shows, such as the University of Judaism; Jewish Federation Gallery; Gallery 825; Federal Building; Cannell and Chaffin; Bonaventure Hotel; M. Storm Gallery in Laguna Beach and Descanso Gardens.

Selected Group shows include: National Watercolor Society 1984; Riverside Museum (First Award); Edward Dean Museum (First Award); Inland Exhibition XIV & XVIII; Palos Verdes Art Museum; San Diego Watercolor Society; San Diego State University; Mt. Saint Mary's College; San Bernardino Museum; Affaire at the Garden (First Award); Los Angeles County Museum of Science & Industry; Brand Library; Loma Linda University; Long Beach Art Association (First Award); Bridge Gallery, Los Angeles City Hall; Descanso Gardens; and the Finegood Gallery, West Hills, CA.

Also was committee secretary for the Selective Eye Art Series for KCET, PBS, Los Angeles, CA, and exhibition chairperson for Women Painters West.

Paintings & sculptures are owned by many collectors both public & private, including the permanent collection for lobby of the United Mizrachi Bank; Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; Enviornetics Corporation; and American Medical International.

Artist's Statement: To go beyond the realism about us and to evoke a joyful response in the imagination of the viewer is the essence of Marilyn Simon's art.
